The Cannes Yachting Festival takes place this week and included the exciting announcement of the brand new Lomac Turismo 7.0 and GranTurismo 12 models. We’ve got all the information on this amazing new speed boat here and how you can soon order one through Portumna Marine.

Cannes Yachting Festival

The Cannes Yachting Festival has taken place every September since 1977 in the beautiful Southern France town of Cannes – also famed for it’s annual Film Festival.

The Cannes Festival is the first in the boating season and Europe’s leading in-water boating event. All major players in pleasure yachting come to Cannes each year to showcase their new yachts.

The event takes place over 2 exhibition spaces: the “Vieux Port” hosts the world of motor boats and the Luxury Gallery, while the Port Canto features sailing boats.

Lomac Turismo 12.5

Lomac

Founded in Milan in the early 60s, Lomac has grown into one of the largest and most respected producers of Speedboats in the world. Founded by the Lo Manto family who previously garnered expertise in the construction of machinery for the footwear industry, which gave them unique insight into the use of special fabric glueing and manufacturing techniques which in turn helped them produce inflatable boats, and become among the very best at it.

In the early 1980s, Lomac became the first European shipyard to introduce the industry’s most revolutionary idea: replacing simple fabric and slat floor with a fibreglass hull. This proved such a good idea it was quickly put into practice in every shipyard in Europe.

Today, Lomac boats are known for their market-leading performance and handling, as testified by multiple international prizes and awards including many “boat of the year” awards.

Lomac Turismo 7.0

Turismo 7.0

After an appearance at the Geneva Boat Show, Lomac once again attended the Cannes Yacht Festival to show off their brand new Turismo 7.0.

Featuring a Mercury outboard motor with 250hp, the Lomac Turismo 7.0 is the latest in a long line of Lomac’s best-selling Turismo range.

Designed primarily for family use, the Turismo 7.0 features a heavy-duty look of a boat that can face any challenge on the water. The deck follows the tradition of Mediterranean boats by providing forward and aft sun pads which can be converted into a dining area for up to 8 guests. The sophisticated pilot & co-pilot seats are sporty and stable even when the boat is facing rougher seas.

The Turismo 7.0 will come in 2 versions: white and grey, or a more Nordic version with grey, black and red colours.

GranTurismo 12.0

Lomac also came to Cannes Yacht Festival to show off their brand new GranTurismo power boats. The new models will be available with 2 or 3 Mercury or Yamaha outboard engines and come in 11.0, 12.0 and 12.5 variations.

These new models will offer more than 300 horsepower and are designed to deliver the ideal combination of design, comfort and performance for customers who are looking for sporty performance but aren’t prepared to sacrifice comfort, liveability and safety, or settle for anything less than an aggressive, streamlined design.

Lomac GranTurismo 12.0

Both the Lomac Turismo and GranTurismo models are slated for release in early 2023. Both can be pre-ordered from Portumna Marine now. Call (090) 975 9793 for more information.
