Portumna Marine is thrilled to announce our Lake Boat Hire service!
We offer day hire of Pioner 15ft open boats (4 people maximum).
Each boat comes with a 6hp four-stroke petrol engine, four life jackets, and a full tank of fuel.

FULL DAYS HIRE (10 AM - 6 PM)
DAILY RATE €150
Terms & Conditions
No booking is secure or complete without a booking deposit which is 50% of your booking fee.
Portumna Marine reserves the right to cancel or restrict hirers sailing on a certain day due to unfavourable weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Our 15-foot boat is ideal for a day out fishing or pack a picnic and explore the River Shannon and Lough Derg.
Cancelation Policy:
Lakeside Dayboat Hire reserves the right to cancel bookings due to unsafe weather & water conditions. In this event, a new booking date will be arranged.
Late Returns:
A full days rental is from 10 am – 6 pm. If any boats are returned after 6 pm without a reasonable excuse, the hirers will be charged accordingly which may result in a loss of damage deposit.
Fuel:
Every boat leaves with a full tank of Fuel measured on the boat’s return. Hirers are charged for the Fuel used throughout the day. This can vary on each boat depending on the distance travelled and weight in the boat. However, we have made our boats more economical leading to as little Fuel usage as possible.
